This workshop focuses on assessment and action steps for creating productions that are strive for better cultural competency. Participants will examine their own and/or their organization/institution’s interactions with BIPOC artists. Then they will plan actions for improving their current working/learning environment.
This workshop is for educators, arts administrators, directors, and anyone involved in the decision making process around curriculum or producing and rehearsing. Content applies to dance and theatre educators and makers.
