Nicole Perry, Founder
Nicole Perry, MFA, CLMA, CID/C is an award-winning intimacy director, as well as intimacy coordinator and dance choreographer. Career highlights include 3 Broward County Artist Investment Grants for KINesphere (site-inspired dance), intimacy coordination for God Forbid (Hulu), and a Carbonell nomination for the intimacy direction of To Fall in Love (Theatre Lab).
She is currently the Miami Unit Intimacy Coordinator for three new 24-25 TV series. She is on the SAG-AFTRA Intimacy Coordinator pre-registry.
Nicole has taught Movement and Dance for several South Florida institutions including the Palm Beach County School District and the University of Miami. She teaches Intimacy and Movement for Intimacy Professionals Education Collective. She is a founding member of Intimacy Direction in Dance and Florida Intimacy Professionals and the founder of Momentum Stage, a professional development company for dance and theatre educators. With Momentum Stage, she is a recipient of the Doris Duke Foundation Performing Arts and Technologies Grant. Her book on consent in movement pedagogy will be published by Routledge in 2026.
Nicole is a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst, Certified Intimacy Coordinator, and holds an MFA from Goddard College.
Nicole is a member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, the Association of Theatre Movement Educators, and the National Dance Education Organization. She apprenticed with Intimacy Directors International. She is a fully Certified Intimacy Director and Intimacy Coordinator with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators.

Dr. Seiden is a Spanish teacher and Academic technology coach at Saint Andrew’s School. She has been in education for almost 20 years and she always knew that being in the classroom was the key to professional fulfillment. She has lived in three countries (so far) and has experienced the undeniable benefits of living in communities that embrace and value difference. Carolina is committed to learning, the Arts, and compassion through understanding. She earned her Ph.D. in Linguistics and continues to ponder about the big questions in life while dedicating many an afternoon to walking her two beagles.

Suzanne ankrum-harris- suzuki technique, Viewpoints, and Grotowski’s Cat
Suzanne is an actress and teaching artist, based in South Florida. Suzanne's particular interest lies in movement-based theater - with a focus on how actors can use physical forms to enhance and expand their choices. She earned her MFA from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where she was able to combine strong Stanislavski-based training with various movement modalities including Suzuki, Grotowski, Corporeal Mime, and Alexander Technique. She has performed at various regional theaters throughout New England, Virginia, Tennessee and now Florida. As Core Faculty in the Theatre Department at The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, she trained students in Acting, Suzuki, Physical Theatre, Voice & Diction, Acting the Song, Textual Analysis and more. She has taught courses at The University of Hartford, The University of Tennessee, Housatonic Community College, Hartford Stage, Hartbeat Ensemble, and The Conservatory at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. Suzanne previously led professional movement training for Bated Breath Theater Company and continues to collaborate with The Other Voice - a wordless, movement-based theatre company that examines universal questions. Sharai Bohannon- PLAYWRITING, podcasting
Sharai Bohannon is a playwright that has been produced in London, England and all over America. Her play IN THE END was highlighted on The Kilroy’s 2020 List and was Equity Library Theatre’s 2019 All Access Reading Series Finalist. Her play WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS? (THE AUDIENCE SERVICES PLAY) was a 2021 Bay Area Playwrights Festival Semi-Finalist. She is also the founder/co-producer of Punching LaBute, a festival that strikes back at sexism to raise money for charities that support femmes. Additionally, she is a film and pop culture critic for various online magazines including The Everygirl and Book and Film Globe, and her own Medium page. She created and co-hosts the podcast, A Nightmare on Fierce Street. On the podcast she tackles horror films through a Black feminist lens. Matt Denney- Artivism
Matt Denney, a mixed-race Filipino-American Intimacy Director, Director, and Educator, is dedicated to fostering consent in K-12 Theatre Education, activism, food justice, and performance. Formerly a High School Drama Teacher in Tucson, AZ, Matt currently serves as the Resident Intimacy Director for Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre & ArtsExpress Theatre. His impactful workshops have reached diverse platforms such as the Center for Creative Photography, Association for Acting Coaches and Educators, Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE), Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), East West Players, Shakespeare Theatre Company, and the Ottawa School of Theatre.
In addition to his roles as a Teaching Artist and Curriculum Developer for Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC), Matt is pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education with a focus on "Theatre for Social Change" at the University of Arizona. As a co-founder of Consent Creatives of Arizona, he actively contributes to creating safe, consent-driven environments for rehearsal spaces and communities across Arizona. Matt's commitment to social justice extends to his role as a Committee Member for the National Endowment for the Arts and the Theatre and Social Change ATHE Focus Group. Recently, he was honored as one of the 2023 recipients of TheField NYC’s Fiscal Sponsorship for Social Justice Practitioners.
Shira Gitlin- gender Eduction
Shira Helena Gitlin (they/them) is a trans nonbinary director, dramaturg, gender consultant, and musical theatre enthusiast. They have held Trans Training workshops for Dramatists Guild, Directors Lab North, individual theatre makers, and various theatres across the United States. They are also a member of StageSource's Gender Explosion Initiative. They have directed for the National Women's Theatre Festival, Moonbox Productions, Flat Earth Theatre, Sparkhaven Theatre, Playwrights’ Platform, the Boston Theatre Marathon and more. Shira is a graduate of the Arden Professional Apprentice Class 26, was an Artistic Fellow at SpeakEasy Stage Company, and is an alumni of Directors Lab North in Toronto, Canada. They have a BA from Hampshire College in directing with an emphasis on musical theatre studies. Chels Morgan (she/they) is a Black, Dominican, AuDHD, and Queer intimacy director & coordinator, AASECT Certified sexuality and social justice educator, cultural competency specialist and creative director. Their work has been featured at the New York Theatre Workshop (Off-Broadway), the Old Globe Theatre (LORT - SD), the University of Michigan - School of Music, Theatre and Dance as well as at OUTFEST LA and on the AllBlk Streaming Platform (an AMC Network). Their writings on Intimacy and Cultural Competency on screen and stage can be read in the Journal of Consent Based Performance (JCBP) as well as in the new Intimacy Coordinator's Guidebook. Chels' career focus is to spread narratives of radical humanity and radical self compassion, and to curate justice-centered production processes on screen and on stage.

Emilio rodriguez- cultural competency
Emilio Rodriguez began his theatre career at the age of 2 by performing one-kid adaptations of The Wizard of Oz in his parent's living room using a funnel, a broom and a pair of his mama's high heels. Since then, he has gone on to have his plays produced in Miami, Sacramento, Lancaster, Portland, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Ann Arbor, Minneapolis, and Puerto Vallarta. Emilio is the recipient of a Kresge Detroit Artist Award, a National Association for Latino Arts and Culture Catalyst for Change Grant and the Victor Bumbalo/Robert Chesley LGBT Playwriting Award. He was the guest playwright for the 2017 Theatre Kalamazoo Festival and the 2019 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Midwest Region. He has taught theatre and playwriting at Michigan Actors Studio, Detroit Institute of Music Education and Kalamazoo College. He currently teaches at the University of Michigan.
Jose solís- ARts criticism
Jose Solís began his career as a critic at age 16 when he launched a film review website while living in Honduras, where he was born. He began writing about theatre while attending college in Costa Rica, and upon moving to NYC in 2012 focused entirely on the stage. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Toronto Star, The Washington Post, American Theatre, TDF Stages, The National Catholic Reporter, Encore Monthly, Backstage, Rotten Tomatoes, 3Views, and America Magazine. He is also the creator of Token Theatre Friends, a weekly web series/podcast where he talks to some of the most influential theatre artists working today.
In 2020 he was selected as the Floria Lasky Visiting Artist at Hunter College where he hosted the Wed@One series. The same year he started the BIPOC Critics Lab, a workshop he created meant to train the cultural critics of the future. The second installment of the Lab was hosted by the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
He currently serves as one of three co-editors at 3Views and as the Critic Cohort Director at Did They Like It, a theatre reviews aggregator where he leads a cohort of five critics.
molly w. Schenck- trauma-informed creative practices
Molly W. Schenck is fascinated with human movement and what interrupts its full expression. This has guided the evolution of her studies and career. She specializes in the intersection of creativity and trauma. She is the creator of Trauma-Informed Creative Practices and author of Trauma-Informed Teaching Practices for Dance Educators. She has presented workshops and trainings for individuals, organizations, and arts leaders on the intersection of trauma and creativity locally, nationally, and internationally. Most recently, her solo work as a performing and visual artist has been featured locally at the Art D’Core Gala, FOUND:RE Hotel, and Phoenix Center for the Arts. Her dance film "This isn't what we planned..." premiered at the Trans(m)it : Lost Dances film festival and University of Auckland's Choreographic Research Aotearoa series in New Zealand. Her photography was featured in 4bid Gallery in Amsterdam, NL. She was a recipient of the Arizona Commissions’ Research and Development Grant where she focused on blending dance and painting practices on canvas. Her dynamic career has been influence by trainings with Susan Marshall & Company on Systems for Understanding Movement and Choreography, Beth Morrison Project's Creative Producers Academy funded by the Mellon Foundation, The Kennedy Center's Teaching ArtistProgram, and community participation with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zanes Company. She worked in higher education as a professor and administrator in the arts for ten years. She taught in the fitness industry for twelve years. She earned a BA in Theater, an M. Ed. In Educational Psychology, and an MFA in Dance. She is a certified Trauma Support Specialist and a Registered Somatic Movement Educator/Therapist. In 2016, she founded Grey Box Collective - an arts organization that makes weird art about tough stuff.
Sydney schwindt- commedia dell’arte and Physical Story-telling
Sydney is a theatre educator, actor, director, and fight director in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a resident artist with the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, the program developer with the Society of American Fight Directors, and on the advisory board for the Same Boat Theatre Collective.
